Mike and Andy met on the train from Wellingborough to London in 1986, commented on each other's burgundy Sta-prest and haven't stopped singing and playing together since. Actually, that's not strictly true. Mike lost his voice for two days in 2001 and Andy went on holiday for a week in 2006. But apart from that it's been one long, weary, wavering harmony from that day to this and, tragically for the general public, it shows little sign of stopping. Two 40 something blokes with too many records and a penchant for real ale "interpreting" the works of beloved pop tunes from The Bee Gees to The Monkees to The Turtles (i.e. not very far) via their cheap acoustic guitars and questionable vocal ability. Incredibly, they often get paid to do this. You too can pay them to do this, if your doctor says it's OK.
