"I’d just like to offer my thanks to Chris Webster and Acoustic Moon for providing an excellent service for us at our Live Lounge fundraising event in November 2011. Good sound for live events is essential but often overlooked since it is transparent to the audience. Chris and his team worked well with the acts and delivered a first class service in a venue that can be challenging acoustically. I would have no hesitation in recommending Acoustic Moon as a professional outfit who deliver ‘what it says on the tin’. We look forward to working with Chris and team again in 2012 and beyond."

"I helped organise the Frome FM Live Lounge and can say that my life was made easier by Acoustic Moon's involvement. They helped in the planning and dealt with both the station and the artistes in a very professional manner. The event was advertised on their company website and they sent e-mails on our behalf to help draw in a crowd.
The company volunteered their services for free for this fundraiser. This doesn't mean we got a second rate service. They started setting up at 3pm for a 7.30pm start and were at the venue until past midnight. They made use of all the specifications they had been sent about the acts to create an excellent sound.
The icing on the cake was that both Chris & Phil were polite and considerate to not only the radio staff but also the artistes and general public. I wouldn't hesitate in using the Acoustic Moon again."
Pierre Shepard (Host on the Frome FM Live Lounge)
Frome Decorative Arts Exhibition at Rook Lane.
Not only was this exhibition planned from the start, to bring a range of exciting and different expressions of art and craft, but also to cross-refer a different audience - bring the worlds of art (as a visual expression) and art (as music) together.
To do this we decided to have a music, performance and poetry private view on the opening night of the exhibition. Announcing this gala performance beforehand with the musical performances of Saravian, Mark Abis with the poetic delivery of Helen Moore and exquisite storytelling by OpenStorytellers brought into focus the need for a good sound man.
And of course Chris came highly recommended from several sources.
I had worked for many years in top London advertising agencies, often in the production of radio and tv commercials, so I knew how vital it was to have a key sound man. My trust was confirmed. Chris came in, took a quick but very thorough look at the space and listened to what I was hoping to achieve. On the afternoon of the private view Chris arrived, slotting in after 32 artists had spent the day slaving away at preparing their exhibits. Chris was more than happy to get his entire setup, which included pa, mics, mixers and monitors ready and running in just a few hours.
A few hours was all I gave him as we were due to start the first performance at 6pm. Chris was ready, the artists were ready and the entertainment rolled on. Without a single hitch. Thanks Chris.
But it didn't end there, because we had also arranged with Frome FM to co-host their FromeFM Live Lounge a week later. This was a more serious affair, with the need for a proper sound stage and a setup which would cater for six bands/ performers. Once again Chris arrived with his trailer and swung into action. Having seen him setup so smoothly and effortlessly before I knew he would just do the same again.
Chris and his team setup to be ready to do soundchecks with each of the artists, with time in hand for the audience to arrive and settle into their seating. Because Chris had worked so smoothly we were able to begin the performances to schedule, run them through the scheduled list and finish off with a performance from a roof-vibrating band enjoyed by a floorspace dancing audience.
Then when it was all over Chris and his team just got down to the business of packing everything away and vanishing into the night. Couldn't have asked for better.

'I organise gigs locally on a regular basis and recently engaged the services of Acoustic Moon for the first time. As a result of doing so, it is fair to say that I will never consider using anyone other than Acoustic Moon in the future because I found both the quality of the equipment they supplied and the sheer professionalism they displayed on the day utterly outstanding.
As a singer/songwriter who wants to share all of his music with as many people as he can, live gigs are key. One of the really important, if not the most important thing at a live gig is the SOUND.
Of course the Artist needs to be prepared and 'on form' but so does the P.A system! Any artist wants to know that they are getting the best sound they possibly can at a gig, and so far Acoustic Moon's live sound system is the best I have heard and had the pleasure of playing through!
Not only does it deliver a crisp and warm sound, but the variety of live FX are to die for. If you want to colour your song with long delays, or subtle reverb it has it. And the balance between the instrument(s) and vocal is superb. A well rounded and clear vocal sound, that can take the strain of any powerful singer.
The best in the West!

"It was a delight to be part of such a 'high quality' evening
in every respect.
As an artist (and having played many, many, many venues...) the whole experience from being booked, the promotional materials and the timeliness with which they were prepared, the final week preparation and confirmation exchanges and the evening itself made for a 'remarkable' journey because of how YOU were - always, in every communication you have been clear, professional, personable, appreciative and supportive......."

"....wow...well done sir....you and Phil did a great great job. Trust me, you are doing all the right things....you have one of the best tech set-ups for a night like this in the country ...so well done.
We all came away thinking it was a great night, and I'd like to take the opportunity to say thank you, thank you for allowing me to come along an play me tunes and for looking after us. It had a good vibe, there were a lot of people obviously enjoying the music and into the spirit of the night...."
